Volunteers: We are looking for a THREE month committment of ONE Sunday a month. You choose between 2nd, 3rd and 4th Sunday! Sign up today!

LIT Ministry meets upstairs in the Youth and Activity Center for service on every 2nd, 3rd and 4th Sunday beginning at 10:00 AM. Wednesday Bible study takes places every Wednesday from 7:00-8:30PM and during this time our goal is to go deeper in the word while holding each other accountable.

What to expect: Sunday services start with our very own Youth Praise and Worship led by our own Worship Team. First Take is done by the Dance Ministry (ages 7-17) once a month as well as anyone else who wants to sign up to showcase their talents in the name of Jesus.

After praise and worship there is time for announcements that is followed by breakfast and fellowship. The lessons and activities are tailored to real world issues that our teens face every single day.We chose the name “LIT” Ministry because we want our students to be “Lit up for God”. LIT Ministry serves students in the 6ththrough 8thgrades. In this day and age there are a lot of distractions and we want Jesus to be at the forefront of their minds as they are starting to grow into their own faith. There are a lot of choices that will be put in front of them and we want to challenge them to put their faith in Jesus first.

Students in the LIT Ministry have the opportunity to proclaim their faith in Christ Jesus by participating in one of the two Confirmation Classes that are offered twice a year. The LIT Ministry also participates in various activities throughout the year that include mission trips, outreach events, youth conference and other activities that involve the entire family. Sign up for our monthly emails in order to stay up to date on everything that is happening in the youth ministry. Spirit of Excellence recognition ceremony happens once every nine weeks. We want to recognize excellence and how hard our HOPE Youth work throughout the school year.
